Tafileh Technical University is a public university in Jordan , the ninth official university in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The university is located in Tafileh Governorate, 187 km south of Amman, on the hills of Al-Ais area overlooking the mountainous city of Tafila. The surface of the sea (1251) meters at moderate temperature in summer and slightly cold in winter.
On January 17, 2005, the Royal Royal Decree was issued to establish Tafila Technical University to participate in the development and prosperity of Jordan and to provide it with all the necessary efforts to develop higher education in Jordan by providing qualified graduates and specialists in various disciplines. And includes many disciplines in the faculties of engineering, science, business, educational sciences, and literature.
